Fuse question for 1995 Toyota Corolla..

I basically have this problem with a fuse number 15a. It controls my tail light and my interior lights and such, My problem is I have put 1 new fuse in the slot, and within a few minutes with the lights on it blows the fuse, so i took another 15a and it did the same exact thing, I just cant figure out whats up with it. Any suggestions, is this a huge problem, and will cost me a lot of money to get it fix? So now i cant drive at night with my back lights being pitched black

Turn you lights off, put a fuse in, and step on the brake (no ignition required). See if you dash lights come on. If they do, you've got a short in the electrical system most commonly attributed to the contacts of a taillight bulb melting a little and fusing the two nubs on the bottom together. If this is your problem, just inspect the bulbs in the taillights. I've had a similar problem before, turning on the lights overloads an already shorted out electrical system and blows fuses like crazy.

Did you modify any wiring on your car at all? If so, what. I have added a lot of lights to that fuse/circuit and it doesn't blow. You must have a short somewhere (the brake lights shouldn't burn out the fuse).
