yea i noticed that.. i just got a 94 a month ago and i was pulling on the hubcap just to see how good it was on but i pulled 3 off pretty easily, and my previous 94 didnt have caps either.
but personally i perfer it without the hubcaps, idk why as long as the steelies arent all rusty, sand them down a little and paint them a glossy black and it looks decent
Some notes from my own; they tend to bend easily when damaged and even my one intact one doesn't look like it ever latched on well to begin with. I would suggest tapping them into placed once a month or so. They are a pain in the ass to get off though when you're actually trying to remove them
All it takes is for them to be installed incorecctly once and the tabs will bend out and possibly break. Most people forget about the little spot for the air valve and they install the cap when it's not lined up right.
Despite this trend of eating hubcaps for breakfast (though I don't really have evidence for that seeing how my rolla's lost 2 hubcaps in 14 years), I would much rather see a Corolla with hubcaps on it as opposed to one with POS looking black steelies.
I lost one after I ran over a giant bomb crater on a road trip.
Honestly, I don't see the point in using them at all (other than aesthetic appearance) since it traps road debris and salt in the winter at the contact which causes the steelies to rust out faster than if you run without them.

i had the hubcaps last week but then ended up losin one somewhere in the highway i ended up cleanin the steelies and thought it looked betta without dem. plus y waste money on hubcaps when with all the hubcaps u will keep losin u might as well save up dat money for somethin else for the car like an air intake or a tune up if ur car needs it. plus i don plan to keep the steelies for long so y bother wit dem its just a piece of plastic in my opinion. but everybody has different taste some prefer the steelie look and some like the hubcap look. im just one person dat prefers steelies.
