USA 1.6/1.8 valve cover?

Are the valve covers from the 1.6 and 1.8 the same?

I want to paint mine but want to get one from the junk yard that way I could still use my car while it dries and have a spare.

Also, I read in other threads that its just the 4 bolts to remove? Would that be it or is there anything else in the way?

They are the same for both engines. U should be fine. U should get the upper intake plenum for your specific engine as well and paint or powdercoat them both. Go to my car domain link.

They're the same, it's 4 bolts on top, two holding the alternator cable cover down, and one that goes over the lip on the valve cover on the hook beside the engine.
