haha Paper Weight. Yeah, those are really heavy, the guy got a great deal on the flat-rate box for sure! I won them on Ebay for a sweet deal, so I could pass them on........ or if I knew anything about installing them, I'd lower the car finally!

Paper weight is one of the safer uses. Most ebay suspension items are just plain JUNK. Only ones that have a real brand name attached may be useful, and even then counterfeits still pop up too.

Save your money and buy something good. I'm sure your safety and well being are valued by someone.

lol.... these did cost more than the cheap Ebay ones that used to be sold..... they aren't the same, but I'm wondering about how safe it is, I probably need to change the struts for lower ones?

You can use the stock struts, but if the struts arent newly changed in when you add the sleeves, you'll just blow them out.

You remove the strut, compress the stock spring, remove the stock spring, slide on the new sleeves and coils, compress them if need be, attach mount, un compress. re install.

Yea pretty much what he said. I just got rid of my DropZone sleeves for D2Coilovers.

Yeah, I will need struts then, I'll just sell these. Thanks!

My plan had always been to get like dropzone springs/struts together. But I didn't want to pass up this deal!

Well, if youre looking into lowering, youll need struts regardless of what springs you get, unless you opt for coilovers. Personally, ive heard good and bad bout GC sleeves. Since you have them at your disposal now, i say grab a slightly used pair of struts and put em on. Even if they do go bad after a year, heck, that would give you enough time to save up for a set of coilovers. I would put em on if i were you =)
