KYB-gr2 part numbers...What's the difference?

I'm about to replace all 4 of my struts with KYB GR2s. Most of the eBay auctions list 4 strut packages with p/n 234057,058,059,60 for my 94 1.6L.
However, in the KYB catalog they list 333236 (FR) and 333237 (FL) for the non-performance and the same 234059 (RR) 234060 (RL) for non-performance. Based on the information available on their site, they are different in color but no spec info is given. Does anyone know, specifically, what the difference between the front performance and non-performance versions is? Thanks.

really the KYB are basically stock replacement shocks. Most Toyo dealerships use them when they replace the shocks on our cars. Make sure it's for the correct year model. Some of 8th gen suspension is compatible with the 7th gen.

But KYB only offers the GR2 series for our cars. Which is still...stock replacement

I understand, but if you look at page 141 of that pdf it says what I have posted in my original post. They list different struts (different part numbers) for the front --- "ALL (Exc. Performance & S)" and "PERFORMANCE (Performance, Incl S Model)"

So are they "tuned" differently? One stiffer than the other? There has to be some difference other than the color they are painted to warrant a completely different number. Thanks.

KYB GR-2's are OEM replacement shocks. All GR-2s are the same.

There is no difference and no performance spec shocks made by KYB available (like KYB AGX's) for our cars.

There has to be some difference, otherwise why is one for performance and the other specifically indicated not for performance or "S"?

There may have been an error or oversight on KYB's part since there was no Performance model Corolla from 93-02 and the S models shocks had the same valving specs as the CE and LE models AFAIK since it was still softly sprung.

The only advice I can offer you beyond that is to get in touch with KYB and ask them if there is a difference in valving specs between the two. I highly doubt there would be though since like I said, GR-2's are not performance shocks.
