gen 7 pod filter problem.

got a 97 rolla and yeah put a pod filter on it.


and i couldnt really put the black thing back in, i got to buy some new pipes and stuff.





was just wondering what dose it do and what would happen if i have it just sitting there and not drilled into the pipe?

That's the intake air temperature sensor. Leaving it out of the flow can influence fuel economy and power by giving incorrect readings to the computer. There's usually a little ring you can buy at most auto parts stores that goes onto the intake pipe with a hole for the IAT sensor on it.
