Please feel free to post the pics here, i cant do it since im at work,
Aparently this is a new trend among 7th gen corollas. i have seen more than a handful of our cars with these bumpers. i think that this is a good option for those in the U.S that want to get the FX-GT front fascias but cant due to then being way overpriced and taking up to 3 months for delivery. You can pick these up at your local junkyard( if you find one, good luck ) or you can order a new online for less than $200. They appear to be a close fit and require little modification. Can any one chime in in regards to this?
Interesting - Might have to take a visit to my local Subaru wrecker. There are plenty of FX-GT bumpers here in New Zealand which you can get for almost next to nothing, I was actually considering purchasing one in the next couple of months, but it's good to know there are other options out there.
That bumper (impreza) will fit on perfect with little to no modifications at all. It has been done multiple times. I have considered it on mine, if I can find this bumper, I will get it
In fact, I am considering putting a lot of Impreza parts on mine from this gen... ie spoiler, widebody, bumper, hood scoop......

Thats good to know!!, how do you know it has been done multiple times, do you have any pics or links to sites so that we can see other cars?
Because in my years of looking at 7th gens, I have seen a few with the Impreza bumper. In fact, miib14 (or something) has it on here.... he posts regularly enough. Try searching Google for like Corolla Impreza bumper
this now puts everything into perspective and can give our fellow 7thgenners in the US some options to customize the front end of our cars without going to the ricey big body kit options
You're welcome.... this also means that any body kit that you find for the Impreza will also fit the Corolla. And, the nice thing is that you will still have turn signals on the front...... but there are even carbon fiber lips/bumpers for the Impreza!
Hmm, I'm not sure about the WRX front bumpers - Makes the car look exactly like a Subaru. Not really a fan.
i second that one to kiwi i mean not looking down on anybody because to each his own but i wont like to know that everywhere i go the first thing out of people mouths is ohhhh loook a subaru....oh wait its a corolla. but its so shocking to see how the subaru and the 7th gen corolla look so much alike looking from the front i wonder if you put a 7th gen bumper on a subaru what the reaction will be like lol.

Know what you mean. I'm all for using bumpers off other cars, but not if it's going to cause the car to look exactly like the car it came off. Couldn't stand the thought of people thinking that my Corolla is an Impreza, lol.

very true, the fog lights on the wrx bumper give it away, thats why im opting to do the more simple impreza rs bumper which is the one pictured on the first link on the thread
