Turbo 4AFE

It's a 93 Geo Prizm. Ok Im gonna start by saying that I already know...It would be smarter to just swap it...That being said I AM GOING TO BOOST IT! I already have a custom turbo exhaust manifold for the car, flanged for a nissan T28/25...I want some help in terms of some set-up ideas as well as a good way of tuning the 4AFE once it's boosted. I have the vehicle pretty much stripped under the hood in terms of getting rid of lots of "useless" stuff in my eyes. A/C delete, full exhaust-header back, intake, and really thats ALL you can do to the 4AFE lol. Any links would help and anyone who knows of a good way to tap for coolant and oil (feed and return). Please chime in if you have any helpful info. Thanks!

well in terms of tunning you can use a greedy blue piggyback computer so that you can tune it properly and safely but you can do some reaserch on different piggyback comp and see what qualities you prefer to have

I used emanage ultimate. I had a return bung welded to a spare oil pan, and had the oil feed come off of my filter relocation head.

The map sensor will send a out of range signal to the ecu once it hits positive pressure and the ecu will freak out. If you were to get a map clamp (won't let the voltage exceed a set amount) and get a rising rate fmu (fuel management unit) you may not pop it immediately but will eventually as the stock injectors are puny. You need something for fuel management, you could use a additional injector controller in combination with the rising rate fmu and that may work. But imo its hokey and half assing it, and you will have spent a fair amount of cash to only end up wishing you bought an emanage or something else. With the emanage ultimate, you can install different injectors and tell the emanage what size the old ones were, what the new ones are, and it does the math for you.

that is correct plus its better safe than sorry not to go half way about the turbo set up. ive seen many guys in my country do poor turbo set ups without Emanagment and had to spend more money because of a blown hose or blown head gasket or worst conditions. so i would advise you get the right stuff, i know it would take time and money but its better in the long run.
