black soot frm tailpipe!!!!! rich lean how to solve???
i was replacing the exhaust tip and it was all black -i wash it back to aluminum shine... like a week ago, so it's recent..- ... does it mean that my car is running rich or lean???
sticky??? hmmm probaly its from all the build up from normal driving... well just moniter it for a while and see what happens if it was running lean or rich it would affect you fuel comsumption.
mpg are like if the fuel tank had a leak of the size of america......... today i almost had to push it to the gas station bc from a 1/4 to nothing was like lightning fast
wow man thats fast well it sounds like a fuel problem it could be your fuel injectors probaly need cleaning or replacing a friend of mine has a honda and his car was running lean because one of the fuel injectors had a tear in the basket inside the injector when he replaced it his mpg was back to normal so you can check on those or you can research it.
injectors...... ok tomorrow first thing will be head to the shop and have them checked...
plus i need an RH axle shaft... i guess after 17 years things tend to wear
My car has a little carbon by the exhaust too. It's normal on any internal combustion engine over time and can be sticky because all calls burn a little oil and it builds up over time.
Run lucas injector treatment with a full tank of gas.
