Question Should i MT90 and if yes then how much ?

Iam thinking to go with MT-90 for my manual transmission oil change thats about to happen right after xmas.

If fully drained, How much of this oil does the corolla 1997 1.8L manual transmission take to get full (1L ? 2L ? )

Is MT90 suggested for cold temperatures such as -20, I am in Toronto and its usually drive very early in the morning, I am curious to know if i am making the right choice by having MT90 in the tranny.

Any suggestions and all advise welcome. Thanks

MT-90's great stuff. Redline sure knows how to make a good transmission fluid.

Google it and you'll come across plenty of glowing reviews on it.

- Thank You Phat Royale, I think i am in for MT90, however am wondering the qty i should buy, depending on the volume of the container, how much would it take appox to fill the tranny.

As my mechanic and the place where ill buy this from are way apart, I want to save myself a trip back and forth if i run short. Any ideas anyone ?

Thanks

You'll need 2 liters.

Two quarts to be exact. Anyway, it just means two bottles. I bought mine for $14 each tax in at a shop in Pacific Mall.

BTW When I first did my manual swap its first fill is two bottles of Royal Purple MaxGear 75w-90 at $7 each at the place I got my flywheel resurfaced.

Where can MT-90 be purchased?
I have 140K miles on mine and will be replacing the tranny fluid also. What other recommendations are there?
