USA Cleaning Trottle Body

Last night I took off my cheap ebay short intake (because the car would not pass Cal smog check with it!) and looked inside the trottle to find some black grease inside! I tried cleaning it out with a rag but looks like there's more further inside.

How do i get rid of it? What can I use to clean it?

P.S. The car feels even slower without the aftermaket intake ...

thers no need to fear but a rag certainly wont do you have to get a cleaning agent to get the gunk build up in the trottle body. ther are alot of brands to use but go to any auto store and ask for the product use for cleaning the trottle body i use GRANATIZER it comes with a small nozzole tube to poke pass the the trottle valve and inside the trottle body. it cleans out the gunk from inside the trottle body and cleans the engine as well.

Berrymans carb cleaner is a brand that will cut through that film as well. Most of the other common brands are water based and dont work very well if at all.

Make sure you use a Throttle Body & NOT a Carb cleaner. It has to be O2 safe...
