94 corolla 1.6L
I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla that failed E-check in Ohio. The car has 210000 miles on it, but still run excellent. I failed the Nox part of the test and everything else I passed easily. The first time I failed I had a reading of around 1300 and the limit is 1123. I put a new oxygen sensor on the car (the one before the cats) and had another test done. I failed again, but the this time my reading was 1190, so my reading did get much better but I am still failing by about 70 ppg. What could be the cause of this or what else can I do to pass the E-check? My car does NOT come equipped with an EGR valve, so that is not an option. Any help would be much appreciated. I have only until jan 2 of 2010 to pass the E-check.
