can any body tell me where the airbag sensor module is located on a 1997 toyota corolla dx? any help would be great!

If you mean the computer, TI-CAVA is correct stating that it is under the center console. The actual impact sensors are in each corner of the front bumper.

Weren't all the sensors for the Air Bag in the console for the 97 Corolla, since Toyota "decontented" these models?

thanks for your replies, i have replaced the fenders,bumper,bumper cover,bumper absorber, radiator support and have not fount any type of wires for any impact sensors and am assuming the module controls that function? anybody know for sure?

acually, yes, in the 93...but 96 and up I believe the sensor is contained only in the module under the console .
