USA 1st time alignment and balance

96 Corolla DX,129K miles

My sons Corolla has never had the tires balanced, rotated,or an alignment done since he has had it.I bought it last Feb. 08 with 112K miles.I'm taking it in Saturday to have this work done. What will the tech be looking for as a reason to "not" want to align it? I have checked the suspension very well and it looks solid and makes no noises while driving.Any input is greatly appreciated.

He might say what you just said

Does it pull in one direction when you let go of the wheel? When the steering wheel is straight, does it drive left or right? If you answer yes then you might need an alignment. Also you should get one if you rotate tires or get new ones.

I see you are from good ole DS,La.......I was born and raised in La. and DS is some of my old stompin' grounds.Back in the 80s (my teen years) I raced some fast cars from DS! Those ole rednecks sure knew how to build some bad a$$ hot rods!

True, but I'm not from here originally...and hardly a redneck...but it is a great place to raise a family. And it has grown quite rapidly in the last few years!
Merry Christmas to you and the family

worn tie rods (inner or outer), worn balljoints, excessively low ride height, large difference between any tire sizes, bald or unevenly worn tires, excess steering rack play, bad upper strut mounts, etc.
