Exclamation gas flap lever broke off, HELP PLEASE!!

like the title says, my gas flap lever in the car broke off... still a newb with the car and have no idea on how to replace it. How is it done, and if possible, the easy way.

Thanks for any help!

If the levers are part of a larger plastic piece you can remove the two screws holding the lever assembly down and replace it with one from a junked Corolla (and pull the cable directly so you can refill your tank). If you've got the style that comes straight out of the carpet, I'm unsure of what to do.

thanks! it's the one from the carpet . I went to the stealer for some information. turns out that it's a really expensive peice of plastic. they sugested to simply ignore the lever. that's what i did. used a crowbar to force the gas flap open and then removed the pin socket along with the "spring". so now the flap is "free" and my problem somewhat solved.
