Suspension sag question

My 95 Corolla's rear seems be sagging alot lately. I have a receiver hitch mounted bike rack which I haul bikes around on. The rear suspension seems to be on it last legs which brings me to my question. Looking for affordable options to beef the rear suspension up a little to handle the load im carrying on the bike rack + rear passengers. Do you think replacing the strut assemplies with oem ones will do the trick. Definately not looking to lower the ride hieght at all. If anything an added inch or so would not hurt. Any thoughts are appreciated.

My original shocks were sagging big time before I upgraded them, which would cause the car to bottom-out when going over large bumps. Decided to install a pair of Monroe GT Reflex gas shocks/struts on the rear when I lowered it and they've been great. It actually made the car a little higher in the rear due to them being brand new and full of gas. OEM shocks and struts would be cheaper, but you should notice more rigidity with aftermarket ones (I've been told by a number of places that the stock Corolla suspension is quite soft from factory).

KYB struts man, I just has those installed for my rear. They work great. You might also need new springs.

+ 1 on the springs. Over a long period of time springs will not retract to there original height. All though they shouldn't be far off from original height since it takes a long time for the springs to get this way. But replacing just the shocks may or may not help

Shocks wont help ride height unless they are wasted and "packed down" so they dont extend anymore.

Springs are the typical culprit. They could be broken but more probably just worn out.
