Need help no current going to the spark plug

I have a 94 corolla. Turned off and won't start anymore. Gas pump is working fine. The battery has full charge. So I then check and no current going to the spark plug. I got a new distributor complex from the junk yard and still no current to the spark plug. Can it be that the new complex I got doesn't work also or what else can it be thanks.

This may seem silly, but did you check the spark plug wires?

The most typical failures for those is the coil. If I remember right the coil in that one is mounted inside the distributor (under the cap). The problem with junkyard parts is you dont really know what your getting. It could have come out of a car that had more wear and tear on it than yours. They may swap it out with another one for you if you want to try that. Its either that of take it somewhere to at least have it diagnosed.
