thanks guys for the comments, well keeping it clean is easy jus love to see a clean engine, think its probaly reading those superstreet mags and seeing those clean engine bays lol.my maintainance is a service in june and december and in march and october i wash down the engine in degreaser and spray it down with WD40 and i just painted what ever looks dull to gave it a freasher look, in terms of money i bet over 10 g's in replacing bad parts but am putting in a few modds in febuary.
also planning on getting the 1.6 racing header all the way to the cat and 2.5 increase diameter from the cat to the exhaust and a OCC. Am upgrading the chassie with a set of sprint or trd lowering springs with ABX ajustable struts, front strut bar and rear sway bar.Wilwood front calipers with slotted brake rotors and bz touring rear dics brake swap with stainless steel brake lines all round and if not the end of the year early 2011 should have a blacktop 20 valve head to be mated to the bottom half sence its 1598cc along with the harness and ecu only to be blessed with forge pistons and rods, cams and management just in case i think about boosting it which i dont think am goin that far heheheheh, so my project still have a long way to go in terms of performance,in the styling dept lol, shes getting a respray hopefully by march and installed will be a front lip side skirts ( still working on which rear lip to use ) projector headlights,different style tail lights,still keeping my R1 18" rims but ordering a set of light weight but strong 16" inch enkis or 5zigen for when am in the mood for being flighty thats about it
Very clean and tidy. I like where you've put the pod filter, with the battery on an angle like that. Bet it stops a fair bit of the heat. What car did you use the battery brace off? Might have to look into doing something like that myself, until I build a CAI at least.
