1993 Corolla Engine Block Heater

Hello,
I am kind of a newbie when it comes to cars, but where is the (if there is one) engine block heater located on my 1993 toyota corolla?

Second, When I have been starting my car it has been making a loud screeching noise for about 5 minutes then it stops when it warms up. Mind you it's below freezing out here. It also screeches when I accelerate and then stops when I get to about 30 miles per hour. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

Most block heaters would only be an option on these cars, I havent seen one myself on this gen but I'm betting it would be in the rear of the block. As far as the screeching noise, tighten up your alternator belt if it isn't ruined by now. If it looks like it has alot of small cracks along the ends or slightly melted, get a new belt.

tighten up alternator tension, noise will cease.
