gen 7 springs question

hello guys, well im kind of new in this forum, actually this is my first thread...

well my questions is the following...

i have a ´96 DX, i want to lower it a little bit, im looking for springs i already found for the car but the question that i have is that is there any car that have the same spring, like the part qould be the same, for example i have a friend that have a Honda SIR II and the springs are the same of the SI, would be any toyota or different car brand that the would fit in my car, here in my country (Guatemala) would be easier to find like "generic" parts

Springs to suit other models may fit, but the spring rate is bound to be different.

I'm using Jamex springs in mine, and the description said that they also fit Levins and Coronas (might go by a different name in your country). Some manufacturers have specs on their website stating which part numbers fit on which cars. Otherwise it would be best to call/email the spring manufacturer and ask.
