I have a question about these aftermarket "oem" headlights. Do they throw out the same full deep pattern like the stock headlights? I've replaced my wife's 98 corolla headlights with "oem" made in china ones and the light pattern scattered all over the place Thinking of changing mine also but afraid to buy Made in China cheapos.

The pattern is supposed to be governed by DOT regs, but as you know, the Chinese can do almost anything without regard for the laws.

I had the non-depo chrome ones, and the light was pretty good..... nothing compared to what I have now though LOL. I think those lights were better than stock for sure.

According to THIS, USDM lights will in fact have a different beam pattern as opposed to JDM, SDM etc. simply because of whether the vehicle is LHD or RHD so that your headlights spread upward towards your edge of the road to illuminate road signs.

LHD cars such as what y'all in the US drive will have a beam pattern like this __/ __/
RHD cars such as in Japan, China, Singapore, the Caribbean, Europe etc. look \__ \__

It's dangerous for oncoming traffic for u to have a JDM spec headlight pattern in the US, and likely dangerous for you and pedestrians since you won't be able to see ppl or street signs 'til it's too late.
Stick to those sites listed above and get USDM headlight upgrades for your Corolla.
