junk yard parts compatibility

Greetings, I am curious to know what parts are compatible from other corollas or other toyotas for a corolla?

I'm used to s10, where damn near everything is compatible with other models with even a 10 year difference

thanks a bunch

Anything from a 1993 Corolla all the way to a 1997 Corolla works, though the cars went through an OBDII conversion in 1996 so there are different computers and sensors for 96-97 models. I'm sure some other bits are the same as on other Toyotas, but I'm not sure which. As well, the Geo Prizm is the clone of a Corolla, so mechanical and electronic components are usually the same, but the body trim is a bit different.

For the most part, what was said above is true. Can you be more specific about what your tryin to do? Also I did find that GM used some wiring that was different on the Prizm. Especially the main engine harness to the ECU.

i own alot of s-10s and currently own a 91 and only the chassis parts and main body panels are same the entire span of each generation.,

dash parts and belts and trims and handles and such made some changes in the same gen even often

the chassies remained same after 93 94 though

like the B bodies did from 78-90 then 91-up, same frame and chassis but new bubble body

the corollas changed pretty often

this gen is only 93 to 97

Most junkyards have software that is fairly accurate at telling you what cars share common parts with your car. They are also often able to tell you if they have something that matches in their yard. This isn't always the case, but most decent you-pull-its have this amazing technology these days
