ive noticed some 7th gens with colored hoses in the engine bay around these forums and car domain. i was just wondering if anyone knew where you could get these from? i think it gives the engine much more of a cleaner look if you replace them.
They're called silicone hose detailing kits (although could go by other names also). You should be able to find a kit on Ebay or at your local car parts store.
Here's an example of what I mean (this is on a New Zealand site however) -
Alternatively, you can use electrical tape over the stock hoses, but it takes a lot of time and patience and won't look anywhere near as clean as if you did it properly with silicone hose.

electric tape, 2dollars the reel, 9meters each, i used 2, be shure to clean the parts before and apply it slowly and don't overtight or pull to hard,or else it will peel of with the engine heat
hard to tell even in live and living color, friends are always asking where did i get that hoses, are the actually for the corolla, how much? and stuff like funny indeed!
just be shure to be patient and have time to make it.
For your PCV valve and radiator hoses, you can also buy braided metal hose covers. I would also go ahead and buy matching wire looms as well if you plan on doing your vacuum hoses.
