Clutch replacement......
Ok people. Looks like I will end up replacing the clutch in my 'rolla myself after all. Is there any way to do it with out dropping the subframe? Or do I have to do that anyway? How about tips and tricks on getting the axles out of the tranny? When I replacesd the passengers side axle it took me like 4 hours cause the axle sepperated on me and I had a hard time breaking the seal on the remaining part in the tranny. Basic mechanics are not a problem as I have replaced a few clutches in my day, just never on a FWD.
I have a jack and more than enough jack stands to get the whole car off the ground high enough to accomplish the task at hand I just need some info on getting started.
Thanks,
Nate
