interesting 3sgte swap info

short introduction of myself and why i'm interested in the info below. i just purchased a 1993 corolla wagon 1.8 5speed and needed more juice. coming from cars such as sc and turbo'd hondas, built up dsm's and 7m supras, and the latest a 4g63t swapped mirage hatch, to say the least the 1.8 just aint doing it for me. i've been doing a lot of research on the 4age and gze swaps and it sounds great but i've always been a fan of the 3sgte motor. here's the info i found of a 3sgte swap that was performed on a 6th gen celica. i know i know, whats this got to do with a corolla! well, the celica is a st model which has a 7afe motor and thats what my corolla has. without further ado. oh and please correct me on anything that needs to be corrected as i've just got into the corolla scene and have little to no knowledge on what is what. any info is appreciated

if this isnt feasible then its back to the 4age motor.

I've seen a good number of 7th gens with 3sgte swaps on cardomain, so it's been done before, not sure how much hp they, running, haven't seen any fully built 3sgte's in a Corolla. EXCEPT for the TTE WRC Corolla which was AWD, but then again was a $500 thousand fully built race car.
I hope to do a swap one day.

If you take the S/C off a 4AGZE and fit a turbo instead, the block's already built for boost and you ought to be able to get 250-300 horsepower without opening it up. Well, that and the engine mounts line up and the transmission probably will as well.

I would seriously look at this option too.

Good suggestion, that never occured to me.
