Hey, I was supposed to reply to you about photoshopping the bumper work to look at paint options, but I can't send u a PM for some reason.
Haven't got around to mounting it up to take pics, but the bumper looks like this.
My 7thGen is white with a DIY black bezel on the stock headlights and black reflectors on the corner lights.
If you can do anything with these pics, it would be greatly appreciated since I won't get around to bolting up the bumper for some time (likely just before it goes to the painters) but I'd like to explore my paint options first.
I think I'm keeping it white, but I'm going for a brighter shade, like a Bengal White or a Championship White. The hood may go in black, but I wanna pull a thick strip all the way down the front bumper, down from the grille as it curves from the hood around the inner end of the headlights. This should cover the bumper scoop I believe, but I haven't measured yet to be sure.
The paint scheme for the car is almost solid in my head already, so I'm not open to colour options really, It's the front bumper I'm more concerned about.
Now the bumper's got no indicators (looking for stock indicators right now) or fog lamps (weird law about the car not having factory fogs blah blah blah).
So I've two options:
1. Get fog lamp covers, fill in the seams and paint the bumper as normal, so it "looks" like it never had lamps.
2. Fabricate a mesh cover to fill the space and have it flush with the bumper (can be painted either a matching white or black (but I'm a lil' iffy about the black)
Here's a side shot if u can work that in as well.
Like I said, if u can work with this, that'll be cool, if not, I'll see how soon I can get to mounting it onto the car to take pics, but it won't be soon.
Thanks in advance.
