This morning I rear ended a freaking van!!!..... A body shop quoted me $700 to replace the hood, fender, and fix radiator support, plus paint. But I was able to bring it down to $550. Also I bought JDM headlights, and clear turn signals. """SIGH"""""
Is there some sort of Corolla curse going around at the moment?? If I see one more crashed Corolla I think I'm going to scream.
Sorry to hear about the accident, could have been worse though I suppose. Were you following too close or something? Do you have to pay for the damage to the van? An expensive lesson to learn .

it was raining and foggy and nah the freaking van was barely scratched.... the rear bumper had this long chrome metal piece, and I hit that part....got a ticket though
wow, wrecked AND a ticket? That sucks. Good luck ever having the head lights fit right again.... I think mine had an accident like that before I got it, cause nothing ever fit right over there. Good luck!!

yeah, I looked at it again, and fixing that plus replacing the fender should make things much better. But, there is probably a little frame damage in there, which is the problem with mine I think.
well the body shop guy said...he will fix everything. I'll post up some pictures once its fixed. I'm really picky and I'll be really, really pissed if I see any gaps or anything like that. I told him that should I replace the radiator support, and plus its like 69 bucks in ebay. The guy said no he can fix it. I'll drop it off tomorrow afternoon and pick it up saturday evening and post pictures.
Actually the dude said he can fix the radiator support. I suggested that it should it be replaced, but he said no. The support is very cheap too.
He will probably just cut the part out that is fucked up, and weld in a new one.

but he is not ordering a new support. he is just ordering the fender and the hood. and i'll give him the new headlights.
Junkyard partsssss

i dont know hopefully whatever he does. he better not leave any gaps and shit. I'll be picking the car up on saturday evening and will try to post some pictures.
yeah, mine didn't leave gaps.... but I one of the bolts on the head lights had to be broken off, and the fenders didn't bolt right to the bumper support. Hopefully yours will be all good
What the eff is going on?! I'm freaking out now this is like I think the 5th or 6th one now. I'm gonna be so cautious when I drive now. I'm avoiding the side streets.
$550 is not bad at all considering it's getting painted too!
