I replaced the transmission seal on the drivers side but cant seem to get the axle to go back in all the way. The splines are lining up and it goes in a little then just stops. Its a1.8 with the 4 speed auto. Any help would be much appreciated

when putting the CV axles in, make sure you turn the little clip upright (split needs to be on top). Carefully slide the shaft in as far as you can go...then give it a good shove. You might have to shove it a couple times. To test if it in right...pull on the shaft. If you can pull it back out, it didn't go in all the way
