My trunk

okey so my 97 rolla trunk opener from the inside along with the fuel tank opener brok like 3 months ago
i wud open my trunk from the back with the key
now for the last couple of days
the key in the lock wont move
i tried wd40 but dint work
when i checked it from inside the hook with the lock was broken
or i wud saw was kind of love n when i moved it
it broke

now there is no way to open my trunk
what should i do
get a new lock or get this opener from under the seat
n yeh whats it called
how much will i get it for
n how much m i gona fix it

was it nessecary to make 4 posts? lol

roll over your carpeting where that wire runs from the thing under the seat, its probably just loose or something, tighten it up and ur good to go, check the trunk end of the wire too.
if not run 2 a local junkyard & see if they have any corollas, pull it outta there,

for the locking mechanism probably best to take it to a toyota dealer or something, but itll cost u

what i was thinking was that if i can fix the opener from under the seat then i wont have to worry about the lock from the back

only if i can fix it
n yeh here we have alot of accidents with corollas
so if they have this part i can just buy it here

well ya just check under the seat, lift up the carpet a bit on that side and find the wire, see if its all good if its fine and tight then i dunno what the problem is
