93 toyota corolla oil question?

hi every one i just got a 93 corolla with a 1.8 DX motor. the car has 180000 miles and I have two questions.

the first is how many quarts does it take?

the second is pep boys is having a special 5 quarts of mobile 1 EP and mobile 1 filter for only $29.99 and was wondering if this is a good oil to put in my corolla? The previous owner only used synthetic oil.

While a 92 is different platform wise than the 93, the motors are fairly similar (unless you typo'd and meant 93). A 4AFE should take around 3.5 quarts, and if the owner only used synthetic, I would highly suggest using synthetic as well.

A 1.8L 7AFE will take 3.9 quarts (with a new oil filter installed).
