Eibach Pro Kits Lowering Spring

Hey im in need of new struts and whatnot. I was thinking while i was replacing them i would lower it at the sametime.

Has anyone tried this Eibach Pro Kits Lowering Springs? I want to keep a good comfortable ride.

If replace the struts is there anything i might want to consider replacing? i read alot of threads and it was just alot to take in lol

never had experience with eibach but I think that's what TRD springs are. I've alwyas used H&R springs on my cars and really like them, Suspension Technique springs were good too. TEINs, I didn't like them.

Pro kits offer a mild drop. You can get new dust boots and bump stops too.

All I did when I lowered mine was cut the bump stops but I kinda wish I got new strut mounts too since they were still the original. I like TEINS cause they're not as stiff as most lowering springs but I'll be replacing them with coilovers at the end of this year. You won't notice that much of a drop with those Eibachs so no need to worry on camber kits. I don't even need it and I'm dropped 2 inches.

From what I have read all over, you have a choice- dropped, or comfy ride. You cant have both.

Dropped also adds camber problems.

any lowering of your car your goin to lose some degree of comfort but ive never used eibach but H&R springs are a good choice but if the eibach springs are only gaving you a inch drop then thats not much of a drop so you still have a high degree of comfort.. but what tires and size rims are you using because goin on a bigger rim and low profile tires your goin to get a rough ride on bumpy roads while smaller rims like 14",15",16" with a 55 or even 60 profile tires will gave you a better comfort ride with the 1" drop

Pro Kit uses progressive spring rates so you should be okay for ride comfort.

I wanna try to stay the orignal size as much as possible. I will try to find 4 lug wheels. Dont like those universal kinds. Very willing to go to a 15" but if i do i wanna try to stay the same diameter. like a 195/60R15, Original size is 185/65R14

What's your budget and is your car lowered or stock? For stock I had Monroe struts for a few years and it was fine. I still have them just in case I wanna go back to stock. When I lowered it, I used Tokico HP/Blues and so far so good after a year.
