My headlights and fog lights (New pics and better pics)

A couple months back I did a retrofit and installed fogs. The pics are a bit blurry, I can never take a good pic, I just want to see what you guys think. I used tsx projectors, 5000k HID and 3000k Halogen for the fogs

Some day shots

Great cutoff lines, very sharp.

You should also post some day time pics of the headlights and fogs.

was there a reason why you went with the amber fog lights and not xenon or HID fog lights??

those lights look nice by the way!

Probably because HID fogs produce a disgusting amount of glare that blinds oncoming traffic.

KRIS05VVTi - I did use ebay lights. I took out the old halogen projector and put in the tsx projector.

gameguru1360 - I used to have a pnp kit in some depo reflector housings and they were great but I desired better beam output. So I got the tsx projectors. I thought to myself, I just stopped my HIDs from glaring, why should I make them glare again. So I just stuck to Halogen fogs. Thanks!

so the next thing on your list is the altezza tail lights?? I switched out the factory bulbs for PIAA extreme white ones in mine. I tried using the 12 LED bulbs for the 1157 stop/brake lights but wasn't sure if they were really working so I switched back to the PIAA bulbs. The 1156 backup PIAA bulbs are super bright when I put my rolla into reverse!!

I've got the 9 LED blue color for the dome light...kinda reminds me of how the scion line has that amber, red and blue option for their console lights.

I used to have altezza tail lights, but after a while I realized that they look ugly (I think they look ugly) and I took them off and put back the stock tail lights.

I don't like the factory look because the altezzas have the clear shield so you can use high output led bulbs in place!

Altezza tails are FUGLY and just about everything. OEM 96-97 tails look 576684685468757469x better IMHO. A custom LED board in the stock tails would be the best option if you want LED tails.

Awesome job on the retrofit, though. Got any process pics? I have Hella bi-xenon (E55, Maxima, etc) projectors retro'd on my Integra, but would love to upgrade those to TSX, and would love to do a retro on my wife's Corolla. But alas, no time or money to do either.

still the LEDs would shine better in a clear tailpiece rather than a foggy factory lens

actually it's better that I got the altezza tail lights because at work there are 3 other coworkers who have the same exact color & model corolla and 1 other coworker has the same exact darkness tint that I have which is limousine tint on the back and rear sides, none on the driver's and passenger's side windows. So I can easily spot my rolla from the other 3!
