The best

I just wanted to thank everyone who has helped me on this site. I've made a desision to keep our 96 Corolla rather than buy a 2006 Pontiac Vibe. The Matrix and Vibe are good cars but when I added it all up the overall quality and reliability are soundly in my corner. I love Toyotas but all that I know is I do not trust the electronic controls on the throttle bodies. They will in fact fail just as sure as a light bulb burns out. I can't afford to gamble on this kind of failure. The research I have done shows that the Gen 7 Corollas are the best cars Toyota has ever produced. So with just 48,000 on mine I'll keep it. After all the KBB value is about 4 grand the 2006 vibe I was going to buy was 7500.00 and it has 62k on it . I figure my Corolla will last another 250,000 , give or take and by that time maybe direct controls will be back in style . Anyway , thanks again for your information.

Thanks. I bought it new in 1996. Its great. 1.6L Engine , Iron block, auto 3 speed trans , a/c ,ps , pb. ceramic brakes, Amsoil synthetic trans and dif. fluides , high performance tires , bosch plus 2 plugs , trans cooler, front strut stabilizer , I mean the cars realy ment , super white exterior , blue hounds tooth interior . I would love to install headers and a turbo charger on it then it would kick ass.

Ford pop ups

I can't stand all these pop-up windows advertisinf Ford trucks or cars. Toyota has been and still is the best auto and truck manufactuer in the world. The only thing a Ford ever gave me was a sore knees busted knuckles and a bad back. END OF STORY.

Good choice . Can't beat the reliability of a 7th gen Corolla . There are so many parts available for them too and tons of information readily available since they are so popular. Easily the most reliable and trouble-free car I've ever owned. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours for MANY more years to come.

. The research I have done shows that the Gen 7 Corollas are the best cars Toyota has ever produced.

Do you mean of all the Corollas produced or of all cars Toyota hasever produced? If you mean of all the cars Toyota has ever produced that honor goes to Cressida and the Cressida alone.
