Radiator replacement, what else to replace?

Our 96 Corolla's radiator is NASTY inside, to the point of brand new Prestone green coolant turning brown. I have a brand new radiator, all new heater hoses, and new upper and lower radiator hoses to install soon. Also will be replacing timing belt and water pump at the same time.

When I do the work, I plan on removing the thermostat, draining the block, then flushing as much of the gunk out of the block as possible. I also plan on SEPARATELY flushing out the heater core. I'm hoping it's not the heater core that's all gunked up inside.

Anything else ya'll might recommend I replace in the process of all this?

Those were replaced just about a year ago, and still seem to be working perfectly. Engine/coolant heats up quickly and stays at just below half on the gauge at all times.

Do a reverse flush using a clean/flush product on the WHOLE system. No need to separate the heater core if you do it right.
