front corner & side lights dont work

Hi I just bought a 1993 geo prizm 1.6 and it came with an Astrostart car starter. I noticed both front corner and side marker light werent working. so I checked the fuse (which was fine) and replaced both side marker bulbs and the upper corner bulbs looked fine. Should I still replace the upper corner bulbs just in case they are burnt out?? anyother Ideas to try? Oh all the taillight bulbs work fine.

When you say side lights and corners what do you mean? The lower, all orange lights in the bumpers are the turn signals and only light up when the turn signal is on, and do not come on as a solid light. Make sure the turn signal works. The corner lamps themselves next to the headlights turn on whenever you turn on your lights. Which did you change the bulbs on (assuming the corners?).

I just changed the two outter orange bumper lights. The orange inner turn light still works, so does the dash and tail signal lights all work. As for the upper corner light I didnt change them. They didnt seem burnt out or anything but I will change the upper clear corner lights tomorrow after work just in case.

make sure to wear gloves when you handle the bulbs since the oil from your fingers will certainly shorten the lifespan.

I believe the corner lights use #921's. I'm thinking about changing out the factory orange bumper lights with those clear bumper lights and using LED amber 1156 bulbs. Right now I'm using PIAA brighter white filament bulbs

194 in the corners...

The one made them all not work, since the bulb was fusing the connection together and causing a short.

The corners should not be connected to the turn signal circuit in anyway, given the orange turn signals on the bumpers do not light up solid unless you've modified them.

Also, you don't need to worry about handling 194s with gloves. They simply do not get hot enough for it to matter. They're only 5watts.
