1997 Corolla Coolant Leak

1997 Corolla DX Manual Transmission

After about 15 min of driving on the highway last night my engine overheated and the check engine light went on. I pulled over and checked under the hood and found that just about all the coolant had leaked out. I had the car towed home, this morning I looked for the leak but I could not find exactly where the leak is coming from, but it seems to be coming from the return hose at the bottom of the radiator. I added some more coolant and and tried to start up the engine to see if I could see any leaking coolant, but now my engine does not start. The engine cranks but won't fully start.

Any ideas as to how to find the leak and why the engine wont start?

Thanks

Your engine may not start because you overheated it and internal damage is too great, BUT sometimes when they overheat they get "flooded." Try holding the accelerator all the way down and cranking it.
