gen 7 Radiator questions

Ok my car is not overheating or anything the temp is where its supposed to be, but for some reason when i put coolant in the reservoir its goes from full to low within one day. Also when i opened the radiator cap coolant wasnt visibile. The car wasnt overheating though. I added more coolant in there

Is that normal?

Well considering I got my 95 corolla radiator replaced today, I can tell you that it is a possibility that your radiator is cracked. I'd also check the upper and lower radiator hoses to see if there is any visible liquids in which case your hoses are leaking.

You should replace your radiator and both upper and lower hose.. cover all the bases at once.. you have a severe leak somewhere...

Replace all 3 items immediately..

Bottom line is YOU HAVE A LEAK.

Fix it.

If you dont see a puddle under your car, place some paper or cardboard so you can get an idea where the leak is. The plastic tanks of most toyota rads have a tendency to leak at the seams or crack.

Did you find the leak coming from the radiator or a hose, have you noticed the leak on the ground? If not check your oil cap for what will look like a vanilla shake,if so you're head gaskets blown and your antifreeze is leaking into you're engine.
