HELP Please

1994 Toyota Corolla DX.

Removing left front axle. Everything came apart very easily until I went to remove the axle from the transaxle. Instead of the axle coming out, the CV joint came apart and the inner CV joint housing and splined portion of axle that goes into transaxle will not come out of transaxle. I have been trying to pry it out for the last hour and it will not budge. I cannot get it out.

Finally managed to get it. Took about two hours of prying and an occaisional hit on the pry bar with a hammer. With the exception of the difficulty I had getting the axle out of the transaxle, it was a very easy job.

Sometimes they pry out easily and sometimes they dont want to come out. Glad your final outcome was success.
