Wiper Stalk Replacement

Hello All,

How hard is it to replace the wiper stalk? Something broke and it won't stay in the off position. I had to tape mine up. Thanks.

It depends. If you have an airbag, you have to disconnect your battery, pull the panels around your steering column off to disconnect the wiring, pop off to side panels on the airbag and unscrew 3 torx screws, then pull the airbag, unbolt and pull off the steering wheel and just unscrew the combo switches. Both sides are together and I believe they should be the same between non-airbag and airbag yrs, just check for intermittant wipers if you have them. If you dont have an airbag, you can skip those first few steps, but if you arent too mechanical, take it to a pro, you dont wanna set off an airbag.
