Question axles swap with a 4A-GE transplant?

I've been searching for the past hour but I did not find an answer to my question so please don't murder me. What I need to know is whether the spindle (steering knuckle) has to be swapped if I change transmissions.

I don't really know the differences between a C50, C52 or C56 but I know there are 5-spd and 6-spd transmissions which mated to the 4A-GE. I know the 6-spd will require some mount finagling to work properly. Now do these transmissions use different axles between each other? I read in one post that the inner axle might be different. Whaaa....?

C50, C52 and C56 are all 5spd transmissions, they're pretty much interchangeable aside from different gearing, I don't think you would have to change the spindle. The C160 6spd you might run into mounting problems, but even that one I don't think you'd have that problem... at least I don't recall it being mentioned.
