Corolla SD PLUS

Someone please explain to me why Toyota decided to put the PLUS sticker on the back of the car.. it should technically be written MINUS right? Am I missing something here? (Other than power everything)

Corolla SD PLUS, that's what my car is called.. it says that on the back.. but you can't get anything more basic than that model, everything is manual. I'm wondering why they called it "Plus" if you can actually have more with the other models.

Might be something the previous owner put on. Never heard of a SD or a Plus model in the NA market. Pics?

It's the Canadian base model.

maybe it's a PLUS because your car is lighter, thus quicker with better gas mileage, thus a "plus"

The PLUS designation denotes an accessory package of some sort.

It should say on the dealer window sticker if you bought the car new.

I used to have a Canadian Corolla sales brochure that I remember outlined what it include exactly.

They had it on DX models as well.
