On my 93 geo prizm, I'm replacing the engine with a later model that has an egr valve. My current engine doesn't have one. I was wondering if I could use the intake from the 93 engine and just plug the egr port?

Just use your old intake. All the hoses wires, etc are there where they belong. Why make things more difficult?

You should be able to just plug it up and be on your merry way. Using the original intake manifold might not be a good idea unless you want to put a plug into the head of the engine, which might be actually more efficient than plugging up all of the EGR related holes in the replacement intake manifold.
