What turbo will work?

Hi! im new to this site but i've been visiting is quite a bit latley.

I want to turbo my 1996 geo prizm LSI. It has a compression ratio of 9.5

Any idea of what turbo i can get?

The turbo you pick has more to do with how much power you want to make and where you want to make it, along with the displacement of the engine your working on.

As for turbos themselves, pretty much the only ones I've ever seen used are either Garrett T25/T28 series or something OEM that is derived from that. It's probably the most common on the market which is why it's normally used. Likewise, those are the only models you're really going to find manifolds for these cars that fit those turbos as well.

Once you get the Turbo you want eather t25/t28 do not get bigger then a t3/t3. You will get mager lag.

also get a turbo oil restrictor plate , people forget about this and then wonder why they have alot of white smoke.......you blew the oil turbo seals.
