USA Can't Find a 4age BT A/T,2 Months waiting list.

Yup guys it takes 2 months to get a 4age Black Top,here in Chicago IL.I have search around the city and can't find one.I did order from eBay but it had to be return cuz the plastic wrap look funny, like someone open it so I didn't want to take any chances and return it.

Can you guys post the dealers where you have got this 4age BT engine?
I know this may be to much to ask but it will be kool if you can check the engine for me just to make sure it is in good shape. Thanks a lot for any respond is well appreciated.

are you serious? I see Blacktop 4age's all over Ebay. Is it because you are looking specifically one with an automatic tranny? if so, good luck..most Levin owners like to shift on their own

what happened the old engine, low oil and the big-ends went like lots of the 20V?
or over-rev and rod out the block?
it its big-ends you MIGHT be able to rebuild the bottom end still...

If you're getting a blacktop, then it's preferable to get the 6spd transmission with LSD.

The short gearing will help acceleration since the engine doesn't make much torque.

The 6 speed with the LSD will be tough to find. Someone here paid at least $2200 for it.

You gotta pay to play.

Running an automatic transmission with the blacktop is a sure fire way to kill the fun factor and sap most of the power.

Well if I'm gonna spend that much on an engine I might as well go for the Beams 3sge. It's a pita to do it but it'll be so worth it. Just thinking about it makes me excited already haha.

This one literally comes with everything...wish I had the money and the engine mounts to do it.

well if you're gonna go with a 3sge beams then you might as well go further and get a 3sgte? Since you will need custom mounts anyways LOL
