Question Toy doesn'r want to accelerate

I have Toyota corolla 1993 sedan 4d 166 675 mileage
Few month ago it started having problems with acceleration especially within first 20 minutes after start. Car goes fine then loose power and speed for a few seconds then accelerate itself while i'm pressing gas with the same strength. When going up a hill it can eventually start loosing speed and i cannot make it move faster no matter how hard i stomp the gas it keeps loosing speed up till 25 mph (even if before the hill i go like 40 mph).
No engine light comes on. Car has new rear and front breaks if it matters.
Any ideas?

1-First thoughts its something related to the injection system or clogged air filter
2-My second opinion is wheel bearing maybe its old and needed to be replaced
3-Also maybe brakes are not fitted properly and hinder the car acceleration

I agree, you may want to check for fuel blockage and make sure your air filter does not have too much build up.

ok, had my car checked at Pepboys. They came to a conclusion that the problem is in transmission, low fluid level and leak

i don't know now
tried to put some transmission fluid into the car yesterday, and it's full, i have no idea why they said it's low.
but something new popped out - now i have check-engine light on
was driving yesterday to school and car as usually refused to go up the hill also brakes became really firm.
Ideas?

To check your CEL, pop the hood and open the diagnostics port, and jump the TE1 and E1 terminals. Then turn the key to On (do not start it). The light will blink a series of times for the first number (I think slow blinks), and then quickly flash again for the second number. The first set of blinks is the first number, second group is the second number. For example, if it first flashes 4 times, and then pauses and flashes twice, it's code number 42.

Granted, with the autos, these cars will generally loose speed going up a hill unless you depress the pedal hard for a downshift. I would check the air filter, spark plugs, plug wires, and the distributor cap/rotor.
