not a common question about air intake

hi to all ,my question is, is there an air intake short /long that doesnt make that loud sound?
if yes would any1 send me a link to an example.

alonger intake wouldn't be loud. it matters on how you do the piping

Almost any aftermarket intake will make more noise. You are eliminating the restrictive resonators and rubber tubing which helps deaden the noise in favor of a more efficient design which isnt as restrictive. Noise is the byproduct. Maybe the ARC airbox from a blacktop may work and may not be as loud as its one of the most similar to the oe setup.

If you're after more airflow without increasing the intake noise, then just stick with the standard airbox, except change the filter to a K&N and also change the factory intake pipe with a larger one that routes outside of the engine bay.

Intake noise is part of emission standards so you dont hear the "roar" with the stock box. Take your pic... less air or more noise.
