Best place to purchase brake master cylinder?

It's time for a master cylinder for my 1997 Corolla with the 1.6 liter engine. Automatic transmission, no ABS.

Best place to purchase master cylinder? Or, is this something that a simple rebuild kit could take care of?

Thanks.

If you want OEM

http://www.toyotapartscheap.com/

if not, you can always go to Autozone but I got one from them for my Explorer and after 2 years my brakes were being weird again but I also needed to replace my brake lines.

I actually did buy a "Cardone" master cylinder from Advance a couple days, but then noticed Rockauto had the same thing for 50 bucks or so plus shipping. Advance was 90 bucks.

So, I ended up taking it back.

Rebuild kits are fine EXCEPT if you have corrosion in the bore of your MC. Sometimes kits are almost the same price as the reman.

I'll also add DONT buy MC from Autozone. The few I have bought over the years have leaked almost right away or failed the bench bleed.
