Will a Corolla 1.6L pwr steering pump fit Prizm 1.8L?? I think mine's going out. Its making a loud noise.

Try tensioning the alternator tensioner... it has fixed alot of peoples weird P/S squeals...

Yes, if the Power Steering belt is tight and not low on fluid, tension the alternator belt (which drives the PS pump belt off the water pump) and see if it goes away. I can't specifically remember which bolts to loosen though... there is one that locks the alternator in place, and then there is one that adjusts the tension.

Thanks guys. That noise went away for some reason. I will keep an eye out though.
