toyota E series engines?

I know that america probably ONLY got a-series engines (4a-fe, 4a-ge 1.6's and 7a-fe 1.8), but ireland etc got the 4e-fe...

now I am looking to put in a bigger engine to max the 4a-ge silvertop ITB setup that i'll be custom-fitting, and the best I can find is the 5e-fe and 5e-fhe (higher compression and rev limit, thicker conrods) so will get the 5e-fhe.these are cynos/paseo/sera engines afaik.

NOW the question is, does anyone know if there's an E-series engine BIGGER than 1.5?

if you're sticking with the E series, why not get the turbo E engine?

I have that in the white 3-door car, but the n/a ITB'd engine will be for the 5-door daily car.and as everyone knows, there's no replacement for displacement lol.also gives me some unusual thing (to the 1.3 4e anyway) known as torque haha

well if you want torque then swap in a 7A-FE from outside the country or locate one inside the country. the 7A-FE makes the same numbers as a 1st gen 4A-GE but is much less peaky, peak torque is 115lb/ft at ~3000rpm and peak HP is 115hp at ~5000rpm. a little tweaking and they can be fun engines despite not revving really high. oh and it only takes regular fuel, not premium!
