Car randomly dies

Its been doing this since Ive owned it. Once a month or so you'll be driving down the road and out of no where the car just turns off. You pull over, put in park it starts right back up no problem, drives fine for like a month and randomly does it again. Now it happened yesterday again, but happened again today. So it needs to be figured out now. Any ideas???

do a diagnostic check on it (not sure which connections to bridge, i'm sure there's a thread on here that outlines the procedure), and that will tell you if/what sensor it is...

you dont possibly have an immobiliser in the car btw?many cars here in ireland with the car dying etc can sometimes be related to immobiliser problems.

hope this helps
